Invicta Aero Club

Invicta Aero Club aims to explore cost effective ways to learn to fly for our future pilots and offer opportunities to operate advanced aircraft in and around the UK. We are able to offer training to obtain your Private Pilots Licence (PPL) and to ultimately become a commercial pilot.  Even our Pitts Special can complete air displays for your own events bringing a dynamic and exciting spectacle to any occasion.  Here at Invicta Aero the team are passionate about aviation and are working with partners and collaborating on pioneering green and sustainable aviation initiatives bringing innovation and opportunity to Lydd, here in Kent.

LYDD Aero Club

Lydd Aero Club is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and is therefore able to provide all the necessary theoretical and practical training required for all your private flying needs.

The UK Private Pilots Licence (PPL) is a Flight Crew Licence issued by the CAA and recognised under ICAO throughout the world. The PPL will allow the addition of further qualifications such as Multi-Engine, Instrument and Night ratings which can all be completed at Lydd Aero Club.

All practical and theoretical examinations, including the radio telephony practical, may be taken at Lydd Aero Club whose staff includes CAA-appointed Ground and Flight Examiners.
